Halloween Fun for Toddlers: Coloring Pages, a Corn Maze Story & Cartoons

by Nicholas Russo

Halloween is almost here, and little ones are buzzing about costumes, pumpkins and treats! If your toddler or preschooler loves the fun of Halloween but not the scary parts, Munchie Giraffe has you covered with not-too-spooky activities made for kids ages 2–6.

🎨 Halloween costume coloring pages

The Munchie Giraffe app has a whole set of Halloween coloring pages with Munchie dressed up in 8 different costumes:

  • 🤡 Clown
  • 🌾 Scarecrow
  • 🐺 Werewolf
  • 🧛 Dracula
  • 🧙 Wizard
  • 🧟 Frankenstein
  • 🪓 Viking
  • 🎃 Mummy

The Wizard page is free to color, and the one-time unlock opens all 8.

Try this: let your child pick a costume to color, then talk about what they want to be for Halloween. It's an easy way to get excited together, and a great way to help a nervous little one feel brave about dressing up.

🌽 Read along: Munchie's Corn Maze Quest

Munchie's Corn Maze Quest storybook cover: Munchie Giraffe dressed as a wizard in a moonlit corn maze

This rhyming storybook is a cozy fall adventure, read aloud in the app. Munchie is so excited for one of those days he's waited for all year! After trying on costume ideas, like a werewolf with a big furry suit, he becomes a wizard and sets off into a moonlit corn maze at the farm. Can he find his way out?

It's the perfect bedtime story for Halloween week: just a little bit of suspense, lots of pumpkins and a happy ending. The first pages are free to read in the app.

Try this: after reading, draw a simple maze on paper and help your child find the way to the exit, just like Munchie.
